Chief Seattle Council Service Center and Scout Shops are closed until May 4th. Our staff are working from home, and can be reached via email.
The first Northern Trails District's virtual merit badge clinic will be Saturday April 18 at 9am, until sometime between 11am and noon.
To get the Zoom link to join, Scouts should send email to email@example.com with their name and troop number. Scouts should download the worksheet from the bottom of http://www.usscouts.org/usscouts/mb/mb004.asp and be prepared to enter information into it during the clinic, if not filled in before the clinic.
There is a special virtual jamboree of scouts from around the world happening this weekend called "Jamboree-On-The-Internet" which is sponsored by the World Organization of the Scout Movement: https://www.jotajoti.info/joti-special-edition
This special event is happening because so many scouts around the world need to 'stay at home' by government orders. "You can sign up for different activities throughout the weekend of 3rd April — from e-learning courses on health, well-being and online safety to learning about different cultures. You can play games and lead fun activities as well as doing what you can to support those in need. Let’s have each other’s back, support our friends, and make this world a little brighter."
For anyone working on Citizenship in the World, this is an excellent opportunity to complete requirements 4.c.4, 7.c, and 7e, as well as reviewing online safety requirements.
