Who: Youth aged 11-17. The program is designed for Scouts, but open to all who are interested and friends. Parent supervision is required for individual scouts or sufficient adult leadership for troops.

What: Participants will rotate through several stations and leave with a new found knowledge of amateur radio and wireless technology courtesy of Lake Washington Ham Club volunteers, the ARRL, and local Scout organizations.
 
When: Sat, April 22, 2017, 9:00 AM, 1:00 PM
 
Where: LDS Meetinghouse, 922 216th Avenue Northeast, Sammamish, WA 98074
 
Spots are limited, free advance registration is required for attendees.
Please Bring:
  • Scout uniform if you have one
  • Blue Card(s) for Boy Scouts earning the merit badge.
  • Snack if desired (no lunch is planned)

New for 2017: Did you know cell phones have a radio inside? Learn how they work! Ever been on a fox hunt? You'll get to build your own antenna and use it to find some foxes - hidden transmitters that your team will race to locate using radio direction finding!
