Come to the Boy Scout Adventure Outpost to meet Boy Scout Troops from around our district. This an opportunity to see the Troops and Scouts in action to help decide where your family will continue your Scouting journey after finishing Cub Scouts. There will be stations to learn scout skills such as Fire Safety, Hammock Camping, and Outdoor Cooking, among others.
New this year: an overnight component to the Outpost. We'll run the usual Outpost at Mountain Meadows on Saturday, September 30th then Troops and Packs can stay through October 1st. The Outpost staff (Troops) will be available to help Cub Scouts fulfill Webelos & Arrow of Light requirements. And we'll have an awesome Campfire!

Don't miss opportunities to make your unit's program better as we share great ideas and accomplishments of other units in the district, training and other opportunities and pass along information that comes our way. Join the conversation and share what you are doing and news you encounter.
The new calendar has a lot of great features, views for better printing and selection of text, the ability to pick and choose types of events to view, searching, plus lots of ways to stay up to date on your phone or desktop and through email.
Please enjoy photos of our district events. Did you attend and enjoy? Send a link to our District Executive. Didn't attend? Don't miss out next time!

Sometimes applicants are not processed because of a lack of Unit funds in their Escrow accounts
Refilling can be done most easily online at the Event Registration page on the Council's website (the first event) You can also mail a check with a note clearly stating it is for the Unit’s Escrow account
OR call and give a credit card over the phone to Reception at 206 725 5200.
NOTE: Your Escrow Account is for Membership Dues – Your ‘Unit’ Account is for Scout Shop purchases.
The Council has increased its marketing so you may have applicants and persons interested in your Unit who simply need the Unit leader approval or contact. Much easier than finding a new recruit.
Use the BeAScout.org tool to submit applications online, and avoid the retyping of youth and adult applications. (Remember that key 3 adult positions currently still require a paper application.) Some help and instructions can be found in our documents library.
